CIA World Fact Book - a bedtime read!
If you have ever tried to find out any physical, economic or geographic data on a country, you will know how difficult it can be. What if you want to know the infant mortality rate of Sierra Leone? (154/1000 births) or the population of Sweden (9,059,691), or perhaps the life expectancy of the Sudan (51 years). Well this little online book The CIA World Fact Book is just what you need. Every imaginable (and some quite unimaginable) fact you could ever want from, the percent of literacy to how many people use the internet, from the highest point to life expectancy.
It may not be something you will need on a daily basis (unless you find it hard to get to sleep) but I bet it will make you a wiser person in relation to the state of your nation as it relates to the other nations of the world!
